Alfons SauquetProfessor Alfons Sauquet is Dean of ESADE Business School. He also serves in the board of the European Academy for Business in Society, the Innovation Board, the board of directors of the GMAC and the EQUIS committee of the European Foundation for Management Development. Additionally, serves in the board of the Human Resource Development Review.
He has been CEMS Chairman (Community of European Management Schools) of the Interfaculty Group in Organizational Behaviour. He has directed research projects funded by the European Commission on Learning in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. He is the principal researcher and founder on the Learning and Knowledge in Organizations Research Group (GRACO).
He has been consultant to the United Nations, Ministry of Education and Science Adviser on Educational Quality programmes and for the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.
Mike RosenbergMike Rosenberg is an instructor of strategic management at IESE Business School. He teaches long-term strategy, scenario planning and analysis of business problems in IESE’s MBA, Global Executive MBA and executive education programs.
Rosenberg’s research is concerned with how long-term technological and socio-economic trends affect the business climate and has a particular interest in the potential of alternative energy sources to change the competitive dynamics of a number of industries, including the automotive sector.
Prior to joining the faculty, Rosenberg worked as a management consultant to the international automotive industry in Heidrick & Struggles, A.T. Kearney and Arthur D. Little.
David ParcerisasDavid Parcerisas is President of the Board of EADA, after serving as Director General. He has lectured in EADA’s Department of Corporate Policy and Strategy and served as a visiting professor at institutions in different countries.
Graduate as an Industrial Engineer (UPC Barcelona), also holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona.
Mr. Parcerisas was one of the founders of AEEDE, the Spanish Association of Business Management Schools. He was also founder of the Association ForQ, representing all the Business Schools and executive education centres of Barcelona Universities.
He serves as a member of The Accreditation Board of EPAS, is a member of the International Advisory Board at SKEMA (France), CENTRUM (Peru) and WHU (Germany), and vice-president of the Catalan Association of Foundations.
Pablo RieraP&A Group chairman and strategic partner at Louis Allen and Zenger & Folkman in Spain and Portugal. Professor and consultant specializing in strategy and management development. He is advisor on the matters of Strategy and Management for many national and multinational companies from different sectors.
Graduate in Economics and Business Administration. Graduate of the Quality Management Club as an assessor of the EFQM model of Business Excellence, “Six Sigma Champion” for Motorola University and “Professional Coach” by USA Coach Clinic. Certified trainer by Zenger / Folkman Co. (USA) and by Louis Allen Worldwide. He also holds a “Master on Consultancy and Coaching for Change” by the Oxford University and the HEC School of Management.
Luis VivesLuis Vives is Assistant Professor of the Business Policy Department at ESADE Business School, and Academic Director of ESADE Programs at the Universitas Telefónica. Luis joined ESADE coming from MIT, where he was Postdoctoral Fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Luis got his PhD at IESE Business School, and has taught in the United States, The Netherlands, Austria and Spain.
His work has appeared in the Sloan Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Long Range Planning, Academy of Management Perspectives, and in a number of books on international business. He is currently running a research project on the setting and development of Corporate Universities in Multinational Corporations.
Pablo CardonaPablo Cardona is head of the Department of Managing People in Organizations at IESE. He holds an MBA from IESE and a Ph.D. from UCLA. He has been a visiting professor at schools such as Harvard Business School and IAE in Argentina.
Prof. Cardona’s interests lie in the area of leadership, management development and cross-cultural research. He combines theoretical research with applied research. He focuses on managerial coaching as a means of helping managers in the highly personal process of developing leadership competencies.
